Description
Round fire dampers install into HVAC ducts and feature a fusible link that triggers above a specific temperature and closes shut using spring-loaded blades or gates. Dynamic dampers are strong enough to force the damper closed against the force of the HVAC blower when it is running. Static dampers only work if the HVAC blower is turned off. These units eliminate the spread of fire through the HVAC systems.
