Ductable dehumidifiers can be installed into ducted HVAC systems to dehumidify all rooms that are connected to the HVAC system, or they can be used as freestanding dehumidifiers. When used as part of a ducted HVAC system, they require professional installation and the system's blower must be on to move air through the dehumidifier and dry it.
