The INSIZE Indicating Bore Gages 2443 is a precise solution for measuring the dimensional accuracy of cylinders and internal diameters from 400mm to 800mm. This bore gage features a removable indicator holder. The frame of the micrometer bore gage is made of steel, while the body is coated with enamel chrome satin. The INSIZE 2443 bore gage is manufactured in Germany and sold without an indicator.
With an 8mm diameter stem, you can also attach a dial indicator or digital indicator gage from other brands to comply with the German DIN 878 standard with a graduation of 0.01mm or 0.001mm. A certain level of skill is necessary for the measurement process and interpolation by positioning the probe head anvil and then "gently rocking" it until it fits and readings are taken multiple times. Master rings are not included in the sales package. You can measure recesses, holes, cavities and grooves on various work materials that have a flat surface. You can precisely adjust the lock with a Ring Gage in a set or as a separate unit.
A bore gage dial is needed if you need to measure for consistency purposes rather than comparative purposes. However, for faster and better accuracy, a digital-analog indicator can be installed.
