Description
Folding tools provide a wide, reinforced straightedge for bending and forming sheet metal. Also known as folding bars, they operate like handheld sheet metal brakes to create folds with a long, straight crease. They have a slot (folding seam) along each side that holds the edge of sheet to a uniform depth. Each slot is a different size for a different folding depth. Sight holes allow checking for proper alignment within the slot before making the bend. These sheet metal folding tools are commonly used to fold joist pans, trunk line end caps, drive cleats, and other components in HVAC applications.
