Description
Fiber fillers are used with sealants to insulate conductors and hazardous location conduit fittings, protecting wire and cable by restricting the passage of gases, vapor, or flames through the fitting. They're commonly used in hazardous environments like petroleum refineries, gasoline storage areas, and petrochemical facilities. These fillers form a dam between the integral bushing of the fitting and the end of the conduit, and around the electrical conductors entering the hub.
