These thread connection identification kits consist of a thread pitch gauge, a small slide caliper, and a printed manual for port and connection identification. These kits are commonly used in industries where there is a need to mate threaded parts or connections. These kits allow the user to measure the outside and inside diameter, identify thread standard and pitch, and determine the seat angle of an unknown port or connection in hydraulic systems. They contain a specialized OD/ID angle gauge caliper with OD jaws angled at 37 degrees and 45 degrees and ID jaws angled at 30 degrees and 12 degrees. The included thread pitch gauge has both SAE and Metric leaves. These tools can be used on male and female connections.
