These brass lock body padlocks have chrome plating that provides additional protection from harsh weather and corrosive environments, so they can be used both indoors and outdoors. They have solid bodies, which are more secure than laminated bodies because they don't have exposed rivets than can be tampered with, but they're less resistant to smashing than steel lock body padlocks. They have a long 1.5" or more vertical shackle clearance to secure multiple hasps or fittings. They're keyed different, so all locks open with different keys.
