Description
Cylinder exhaust fans are more compact than slant-wall or cone exhaust fans, and they are commonly used in agricultural applications. They do not extend as far out from the wall as slant-wall fans, and they can be placed closer together than cone exhaust fans. The fans have shutters on the intake side, which helps minimize turbulence as air moves through the fan. The shutters close when the fans turn off to block out drafts. These fans also have discharge guards that help prevent objects from entering the fan on the discharge side. Direct-drive fans have few moving parts and typically require minimal maintenance. Each fan features a motor that's directly mounted on the fan shaft.
