TEMPCO Process Thermostats

These thermostats have heat-sensitive base plates that mount in full contact with heated surfaces, allowing them to sense the temperature through thermal conduction. The plate screws onto the surface, which should be flat and smooth for an accurate temperature reading. The base plate's expansion and contraction works with the thermostat's bimetal strip sensor to open and close the contacts that control the temperature. These thermostats are commonly used in industrial applications, such as electrical appliances, food service equipment, and industrial drum heaters.
