ASCO Pilot Solenoid Valves

Universal pilot solenoid valves are used with a pneumatic actuator and can be set as normally closed or normally open, which is ideal when the configuration will be selected at the time of installation. When set to normally closed, they remain closed until they are actuated to open and allow flow. When set to normally open, they remain open to allow flow until they are actuated to close and stop flow. These valves can be mounted in any position and will vent air from the spring side of the actuator to help prevent corrosion. Pilot solenoid valves are commonly used to control flow in hydraulic systems, control cylinders, fluid power motors, and other process control applications.
