These EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) water suction and discharge hose assemblies are suitable for vacuuming or pumping water in medium- to heavy-duty construction, mining, agricultural, and industrial applications. They are used with engine-driven dewatering and trash pumps for transferring water from tanks, trucks, and pits or other places where water may accumulate. The hoses are made from EPDM, which provides excellent resistance to ozone, good resistance to chemicals and heat, and poor resistance to petroleum fluids. They have spiral-plied synthetic fabric with wire helix reinforcement that helps the hoses keep their shape when not in use and prevents them from collapsing in suction applications. These hose assemblies have fittings installed on both ends for connecting the hose to compatible equipment.
