Boston Chemical Hose Assemblies

These UHMW-PE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) chemical hose assemblies are used for abusive transfer operations, such as those where the hose will encounter high wear and tear, volatile chemicals, or extreme temperatures. They are reinforced with multiple plies of tire cord and dual monofilament helix, which allows the hoses to resist crushing and kinking. These hoses have male NPT (National Pipe Taper) fittings on their ends. The fittings have tapered threads that create a tight seal when connected to compatible equipment. The hoses' UHMW-PE tube provides excellent chemical and abrasion resistance and moderate heat resistance. The hoses' cover is made from EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer), which provides excellent resistance to ozone and abrasion and offers good resistance to heat and chemicals.
