Description
Gaffer's tape, also known as gaff tape, has a heavy, cotton, cloth-backing and does not leave an adhesive residue. It adheres well to a variety of surfaces, including carpet. Gaffer's tape is water- and heat-resistant, but less conformable than duct tape. It is often used to temporarily secure lighting and cables without causing surface damage.
