Polyimide-backed film masking tape is thermal, chemical, and abrasion resistant, with higher heat and abrasion resistance than polyester-backed masking tape. This thin, translucent tape is colored for visibility and removes cleanly from surfaces without slivering or breaking. It is used in masking for powder coating, masking metal surfaces, and solder masking.
