H-post closed metal shelving units have tubular posts that can support very heavy loads in high-density, high-rise shelving systems where shelving units are stacked vertically. Heavy-duty shelving units generally are sturdier and can hold more weight than light-duty or medium-duty shelving units. Starter units can be used as standalone units. Add-on units connect to compatible starter or add-on units to create or expand a multi-unit shelving system. Each add-on unit shares posts with the unit it connects to, which saves space compared to placing multiple standalone units side by side. These shelving units include panels that install onto their posts to enclose their shelves and stabilize the shelving units. They use clips to anchor and support their shelves on their posts, and the clips can be moved to adjust the height of the shelves on the posts.
