Tokyo Glass Kikai (TGK) Diffusion Tube

A permeator is a calibration gas regulator that uses a permeation tube or diffusion tube as a gas source.
If the permeation tube and diffusion tube are kept at a constant temperature, the amount of permeation and diffusion and the amount of evaporation and diffusion will be constant. Therefore, if both tubes are kept at a constant temperature and a diluted gas such as air or nitrogen is sent at a constant flow rate, a trace concentration of calibration gas will be continuously generated.
This adjustment method is highly reliable because the gas concentration is determined based on the permeation / diffusion rate and evaporation / diffusion rate obtained by the gravimetric method and the measurement data of basic physical quantities such as the amount of diluted gas. The device is as shown in the figure below.
