The semi-automatic microtome is equipped with an electronic servo drive. This makes operation much easier for long-lasting cutting sequences. Cutting can be started either at the manual control panel or at a foot switch (optional). Cutting can be done in 3 variations on the hand tableau:
->Tip mode->Single stroke (alternatively with foot switch)->Continuous stroke
