Redox is the measure of oxidation reduction potential (ORP).
The Senz Redox can be use in swimming pools or spas to measure the oxidizing power of the chlorine disinfection in pool water. This is an alternative to measuring chlorine with chemical test kit. While Redox does not give direct reading in ppm of chlorine, but indicate the sufficiency of sanitizing power in mili-volts rather than ppm alone.
The benefits of drinking alkaline water have got more homes owning alkaline water machines. Redox is also a good indicator of good alkaline water where the more negative the ORP value, the more antioxidizing it is. Alkaline water generating machines requires maintenance if the redox readings are below expectation. Therefore, having a Redox meter comes handy for owners to monitor the efficiency of their machines.
