SKY-Packings are the most prominent hydraulic packings for both pistons and rods.
SKY-Packings can be installed in one piece groove. They achieve a cost cut and compacter cylinder design by reducing parts for divided grooves.
Remarks
- The D1 tolerance of SKY-8-5 should be ± 0.1.
- Packings should be installed in the direction specified on the above schematic.
- Consider adopting split grooves if one-piece groove is technically adverse.
- Split grooves are recommended for SKY-18 and smaller products.
- D H9/f8 changes according to the variation of the bearing structure.
- For applications installed in combination with wear rings, refer to the dimension table of the applicable wear rings.
