They provide the worker with fall protection and comfort with the large frontal pad, while leaning out and positioning for the next drill pipe. The straps are specifically designed to attach to a variety of derrick style harnesses that incorporate mating connectors to attach the strap to the harness. They also have built-in fixed front rings to run the positioning cord through to provide the necessary restraint and positioning.
