3M™ Thin Flexographic Mounting Tape 2205 is a 5 mil, double coated film tape with differential acrylic adhesives on a polyester film carrier with a polycoated kraft paper liner. This tape is specifically designed for the corrugated printing business to hold flexographic print plates to PVC saddles/carriers.
Feature
- 0.005 inch (0.13 mm) double-coated tape designed for the corrugated printing business to hold flexographic print plates to PVC carriers/saddles and PET carriers/saddles- Linered side of the tape has crosshatched pattern that allows air to escape from between the tape and the carrier
- Adhesive on non-linered side of the tape is designed for mounting of photopolymer plates
