Polymaker PolyMax PC-FR is a special polycarbonate material with flame retardant capability (passed UL94 fire rating with V0 performance), high impact resistance, high heat resistance and produced with excellent diameter consistency to ensures a seamless and highly accurate 3D printing result.
PolyMax PC-FR is made using advanced PC polymer from Covestro’s Makrolon family and processed using Polymaker’s Nano-reinforcement technology, hence why the filament have many exceptional features not found on most PC material, like the flame retardant feature, which makes PolyMax PC-FR a favorable option for application within automotive & electrical industry that requires additional safety precaution from fire hazard.
