DEWALT Self Sharpening Chisel Bit

These self-sharpening chisel bits have an SDS-Max shank that prevents them from slipping when breaking up concrete and masonry in high-torque construction and demolition applications. The bits' tip geometry allows them to wear evenly and retain their sharpness for longer than standard chisel bits. This reduces downtime and increases efficiency because the self-sharpening bits don't need to be resharpened as often as standard chisel bits. The bits install into compatible rotary hammer drills and demolition hammers with SDS-Max chucks, and they can be changed in the chucks with one hand. SDS-Max chucks have spring-loaded balls that fit into the grooves on the bits' shanks to hold the bits in place in the chucks.
