Description
The spindles on these mechanical micrometer heads do not rotate, so no twisting action is exerted on the workpiece. These micrometer heads have a main body with a single spindle that has a flat face. Non-rotating spindles are commonly used for gauging soft or elastic materials where scratches on the work surface can’t be tolerated. They also reduce spindle wear.
