Replacement canisters for return-line hydraulic filters include a filter element inside a canister. Canisters (sometimes called spin-on filters) have an integrated filter for trapping contaminants. Screw the canister onto a filter head and replace it when the filter is full to maintain correct flow and continue to remove particles. Clean hydraulic fluid reduces contaminant buildup and maintenance costs and extends the working life of system components.

Return-line hydraulic filters, sometimes called spin-on filters, are used to clean hydraulic oil or fluid in pressurized hydraulic systems. In-line hydraulic filters are installed on the low-pressure, return line side of a hydraulic system to clean fluid before it returns to the reservoir. Clean hydraulic fluid reduces contaminant buildup, reduces maintenance costs, and extends the working life of system components. Hydraulic canister filters have an integrated filter element. When the filter becomes dirty or clogged, the canister is removed and a new canister is installed. Applications include general processing and industrial, mobile, and power transmission applications.
