How To Use
- Clean the threads
Herme Seal is extremely water and oil resistant, and therefore it will not adhere if there is oil or water on the screw threads. Remove oil, water, dust, screw-cutting dreg, etc. on the threads completely.
- Brush on lightly
Brush on lightly, so as to just fill in the threads (about 0.2-0.4mm). If you brush the seal on too heavily, when the pipes are joined, the sealing will be squeezed inside where it will stain the inner surface of the pipe or clog up the pipe cock.
- After joining pipes, keep them as dry as possible.
Herme Seal acts at its highest efficiency when it is completely dried and the solvent material is evaporated.
The pipes should be screwed together firmly, and after joining, they should be kept as dry as possible.

Use
For Multipurpose Pipes HERME SEAL H-260 has excellent heat resistance and chemical resistance so it can be used in wide range of piping, since it has wide range of heat and chemical resistance.
(Temperature -30 to +260°C / Steam temperature up to + 150°C)
This is a non-solvent type that does not contain organic solvent so it will not be hazardous material for "Fire Service Act" and "Ordinance on Prevention of Organic Solvent Poisoning". It is non-drying type therefore you can save construction time.
Do not use in potable water.
