Description
This is a dedicated anti-backflow fitting that is installed on the water flow side of a water heater.
Warning
Tighten with proper torque to prevent packing damage. The standard tightening torque for non-asbestos packing should be as follows. When performing an airtight test, make sure that the packing contains water to prevent seepage leakage. G1 / 2: 25 Nm, G3 / 4: 45 Nm (4 to 6 Nm is recommended when using EPDM packing) If the supplied packing is different from the recommended specifications in your area, use an appropriate product.
Do not perform a water pressure test under conditions where water pressure is applied in the non-return direction. It may cause damage to the check valve.
Apply proper heat insulation in areas where there is a risk of freezing. Check valve may be damaged by freezing.
