One-way external controllers provide manual control of heating mantles, electric Bunsens, and heating tapes and cords. The controllers are designed to regulate the heating of resistive loads for one piece of laboratory equipment at a time. A regulator control dial increases power to the equipment as it is turned clockwise. When the power is on, a white neon indicator lights up. As power is being supplied to the equipment an amber neon indicator begins to pulsate. Once maximum power is reached, the amber neon becomes fully illuminated.
