It is a wind cartridge filter with almost no separation and elution of fibers that are wound without twisting endless polypropylene filaments spun without using a surfactant.
The TCW type is a depth type cartridge filter in which yarns (fiber bundles) made up of many fibers are wound up so that a gentler density gradient can be obtained from the central tube. The apparent filter layer is about 15 mm, but since the liquid passes in a spiral shape, the actual filter layer is thick and has a gentle density gradient, so long filtration life can be obtained.
It has excellent chemical resistance and can be used for filtration of acids, alkalis and most organic solvents.
