Super aramid fiber "Kevlar (R)" protects from danger without impairing hand movement. It is light, strong, non-flammable, and does not shrink after washing. Good workability and unparalleled protection. For example, cutting a Kevlar glove with a razor blade requires 6 times more force than a cotton glove and 15 times more force than a leather glove. It also has excellent heat resistance and does not change its properties up to nearly 200°C. It also has self-extinguishing properties that extinguish the fire when you take your hand off the flame, and because it does not melt, you do not have to worry about causing serious burns like other chemical fibers (it starts to carbonize at about 427°C).
