File Compression
The Plustek scanner provides a file compression feature to reduce the size of the scan results. This feature reduces the file size by up to 90% of a normal scan. This feature is suitable for scanning many documents and will be sent via email. This automatic file compression feature is included in the DocAction Plustek software.

OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
A program that functions to convert image files (images) into text files (*.txt). OCR technology was developed so that computers can recognize and translate written characters on physical documents which can then be saved & edited again in digital format (Word/Excel).

Plustek OCR
Plustek OCR is a software to convert scanned images into text so that documents can be edited again. Can recognize writing up to 192 languages. This software can only be used with the Plustek Scanner.

OpticPro A360 Plus has a scan area size of up to A3+ size so it can be used to scan documents such as 2 open book pages, Maps, Magazines, Blue Prints, Newspapers, and other large and thick documents.
