The LQ-680Pro offers a performance advantage that busy offices are sure to appreciate : speed. It is networkable and can be equipped with an optional Type B Level 2 interface card for wide-ranging connectivity.

The LQ-680Pro offers a class-leading throughput and an amazing top speed of 413 cps (at 10 cpi in High-Speed Draft mode). What's more, our new 24-pin Eco-Drive print head mechanism achieves this high level of productivity without running up your electric bill. And when a print job is finished, a new auto power-saving function puts the printer in standby mode for even greater savings.

Unrivalled Ease-Of-Use
Built into Every Feature A compact new flat-top housing makes the printer ideal for countertop and desktop use. The front sheet guide has also been redesigned – it now features a lower profile, a full-flat bottom and an L-shaped edge guide for smooth, easy front loading. In addition, improved front-in, front-out paper handling ensures that front-loaded cut-sheet paper and single-sheet, multi-part forms emerge right-side-up for instant legibility. For the enhanced convenience and productivity of pre-loading, simply add an optional cut-sheet feeder.

Reliability and Versatility
Print head life and total print volume have been extended even beyond the level offered by the widely acclaimed Epson LQ-670, and you can now get crisp, clear output on multi-part forms up to six layers thick. Versatility is also excellent, with three-way paper handling that allows paper to be loaded from the front, rear or top.

On-Screen Status Monitoring
The LQ-680Pro is networkable and can be equipped with an optional Type-B Level 2 interface card for wide-ranging connectivity. In addition to the Epson Status Monitor 3 on-screen display, the LQ-680Pro features an Auto Platen Gap adjuster and an Auto Paper Changer.

The Auto Platen
Gap adjuster sets the platen gap to suit the type of paper being used and this prevents paper misalignment and jamming that can cause problems during remote operation. In addition, the Auto Paper Changer lets you switch between cut-sheet and continuous-feed forms or paper without leaving your desk.
