Nagaoka Shoten Snow Queen

Nagaoka Shoten's long-selling "Classic Kamishibai" series has added a new addition: Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Snow Queen," the original story behind the hugely popular children's film "Frozen." Kamishibai has recently been re-evaluated for its ability to improve children's language skills. It helps children develop listening and comprehension skills in a fun way. The back of each booklet includes "reading tips" and, starting with this book, the timing for turning the pages. In addition, all kanji characters in the story have furigana (phonetic readings), so children can try their hand at reading aloud and it also serves as practice for reading aloud. Enjoy the world of the story with your children through the large, immersive illustrations.
