This linear voltage regulator is extremely easy to use, requiring only two external resistors to set the output voltage. Furthermore, it features internal current limiting, thermal shutdown, and safe-area compensation, making it inherently explosion-proof. The LM317M can be used in a variety of applications, including local card regulations.
