Infineon CDM10V is a fully integrated 0-10V dimming interface IC in a 6-pin SOT package that meets the space-saving requirements of small boards. The device targets various dimming applications in lighting. The IC can be used to send an analog voltage-based signal from a 0-10V dimmer or potentiometer to the dimming or PWM input of a lighting controller IC and to drive an external optocoupler as a current-based PWM signal. CDM10V replaces many components of traditional solutions, significantly saving BOM and board space. It supports active/passive dimming as well as dimming to off with PWM input.
