Strain relief hood. Plastic strain relief hood that fits RJ45 data plugs (8/8 type).
This hood can be attached to standard 4-pair UTP and STP cables and is inserted into the back of the plug to prevent excessive tension on the cable clamp.
The hood extends over the plug latch, allowing latch operation while protecting the latch from getting caught on other cables.
