mbed Synergy Audio CODEC Module. The Synergy AudioCODEC module converts stereo analog audio signals to a single digital signal using the I2S protocol.
It is designed to be used with the mbed LPC1768 microcontroller module.
The AudioCODEC module is packaged in a convenient form factor that allows for rapid prototyping by utilizing the Texas Instruments TLV320AIC23B audio CODEC chip.
The TLV320AIC23B uses industry standard I2C/SPI for control and I2S for data transfer, and can record and play audio at a variety of resolutions and sample rates.
The AudioCODEC module can be plugged into a Synergy AnimatronicLab board or a standard breadboard.
