Description
EatonDLIMS series safety contacts
Eaton's DILMS series safety contactors provide reliable switching in safety-related device applications. DILMS safety contactors are equipped as standard with top-mounted auxiliary contacts to prevent tampering and prevent manual actuation. This contact is non-removable. For added safety, this contactor incorporates mirror contacts and interlocking opposite contacts. A built-in inspection window just above the switch position indicator allows you to easily monitor the operational status of your control system at any time. This contactor has a yellow cover for quick and efficient identification of the safety device. The reliable design of this contactor makes it the perfect solution to protect your device from manual activation. DILMS series contactors in four different sizes cover power ranges from 7 to 150A. The series also offers LAS safety relays in three different coil voltages to complete your safety system.
Features and Benefits Contactor Safety Condition Monitoring (Inspection Window) Cannot be manually activated Can be used for controlled emergency stop applications Starting (Category 4) Reliable self-monitoring machine control circuit of opposing contacts Highlighted in yellow mirroring interlock contacts (RAL1004) Reliable screw terminal top mounting, non-removable auxiliary contact (front)
Typical Applications Contactors are used in many applications. These contactors are used in factory automation and control, rail transport, electrical systems, electric motors, lighting, mechanical engineering where safety functions and protection of equipment and users are also important elements.Safety contactors or safety relays When deciding whether to use contactors or relays in a safety circuit, there are some general rules to make the decision easier. Contactors must be used when the current is greater than 9A and up to 1000Vac, and can be used in 1-phase or 3-phase safety applications. Current should be less than 10A and up to 250Vac, typically used in single-phase safety applications.
