Insert grade VBX: First recommended for general steel and cast iron. Excellent chipping and wear resistance.
Hypro Planet Cutter allows inserts with different types of screws to be attached to one body.
Since there are multiple ridges in one insert, it is possible to process the number of ridges.
*The cutting condition standard table is for when using water-soluble cutting fluid.
*Water-soluble cutting fluids cannot be used on magnesium alloys.
*Cutting conditions may need to be changed depending on the rigidity of the workpiece, machine, and chuck.
*If the tapping length is long, or if you are machining a screw with a large pitch, select a smaller feed rate and process it in several batches.
*If the machined parallel female thread is tapered and it is difficult to insert the through gauge, please add zero cut (finishing).
*If the cutting edge is frequently damaged or the clamp screw is damaged with HY-PRO P, please reduce the depth of cut in the radial direction to less than half the height of the screw.
