Sumiboron, a sintered CBN tool, is primarily used for cutting iron-based metals due to its low reactivity with iron-group elements.
High CBN content improves wear resistance. Furthermore, the special binder improves the strength of the CBN particle/binder interface, and the unique sintered body manufacturing process improves the bonding strength between CBN particles, resulting in excellent chipping resistance.
Achieves stable performance in high-speed finishing of cast iron, sintered alloys, and hard-to-cut materials.
