This handy measuring device combines a black globe thermometer, thermometer, and hygrometer to measure the WBGT index, which is used as a guideline for preventing heatstroke and for assessing heat stress in the work environment.
Check the perceived temperature (heat) visually to help prevent heatstroke.
Used in the following places: School physical education, club activities, extracurricular activities, indoor and outdoor sporting events, work sites in high temperature environments, road and track maintenance work, agricultural work. This device complies with JIS B 7922 Class 2.
Alarm warning: A buzzer will sound when the set value (any WBGT index) is reached.
It has a HOLD function and also has a maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) value display function.
It also has an auto power off function (approximately 20 minutes) and WBGT index measurement environment settings.
Includes a hard case for easy transport and storage. The WBGT index guidelines for heatstroke prevention are provided as guideline stickers. Choose from three types (1. Japan Sport Association, 2. Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, 3. Japan Society for Occupational Health) depending on your intended use, and attach them to the front of the unit (below the keys).
To prevent the measured temperature from being affected by radiant heat, measure in a location where there are no objects nearby.
It is possible to install a "radiant heat protection part (option No. 8310-20)" that protects the temperature and humidity detection unit and main body case from radiant heat from heat sources.
