You can connect a USB Type-C (USB-C) cable to a computer equipped with Type-A. (Reverse connection is not supported.) You can make effective use of your USB cable. You can connect a computer to a smartphone/tablet equipped with Type-C, or connect a USB power supply. Supports charging up to 1.5A. (The supply current value depends on the performance of the connected device.) Equipped with a 56kΩ resistor to prevent overcurrent exceeding 1.5A. Type-C is a reversible connector that can be connected without worrying about the top or bottom orientation. The main body size is 13.5mm, excluding the protruding part of the connector, making it compact.
This product is a generic product and operation is not guaranteed for all combinations. It will not function properly if the Type-C side is connected to a host (PC/smartphone) and the Type-A side to a peripheral device. It works fine if the Type-C side is connected to a PC/smartphone and the Type-A side is connected to a USB power source. This product will not work with a smartphone/tablet or other device connected to a CC cable with built-in eMarker. This is because it cannot determine which is the host. Genuine Apple CC cables have built-in eMarkers. (We have not tested all Apple products.) The current supplied depends on the performance of the connected device. It does not support USB PD (Power Delivery). This product simply converts the connector; it does not enable Type-C functions to be used with Type-A. Even when used with a USB-C dock, it does not support DP-Alt mode, so DP/HDMI output is not possible. Please check the manual for the connected device before use.
