An SSD (Solid State Drive) is a storage device that records data. Compared to conventional HDDs (Hard Disks), SSDs have faster data transfer speeds and a more compact body. They are also durable and quiet.
With a generous 500GB capacity, it can store approximately 56,100 photos, 7,000 videos, approximately 62 hours of recorded terrestrial digital broadcasting, or nine games.
*This is a guideline based on photos: 24 megapixels, 8.2MB per photo, videos: 1 minute, 65MB (1080pHD/30fps), and games: 50GB per game.
Just plug it in and you're ready to go. It's pre-formatted in exFAT format, so you can plug it into your iPhone, Android smartphone, Windows PC, or Mac and use it right away. No additional cables or adapters are required.

*Data Recovery Service Lite is only available when data loss is due to an operation error such as "deleting data" and the data to be recovered has not been overwritten. Failures other than an operation error will require a paid data recovery service.
*Data Recovery Service Lite does not guarantee that all data will be completely recovered depending on the condition of the product, and the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any data damage.
You can save data using the file management app that comes standard with your device, such as a smartphone or tablet. (The manufacturer's file management app "Extorage Link" is not supported.)
Protect data you don't want others to see. "PASS (Password Authentication Security System)" security software with automatic password authentication function is available for download from the ELECOM website.
Once you set a password on the specified computer (up to three computers), you can protect your data without having to enter the password again.
If you connect to an unregistered computer, you will be prompted to enter a password, preventing data leakage in the event of theft or loss.
Despite its large capacity and two types of connectors, it is just as compact as a USB memory stick. It is small enough to fit in a pencil case or gadget pouch, making it convenient to carry around.
It is backward compatible with USB3.1 (Gen1)/USB3.0/USB2.0 and can be connected directly.
