Description
The FL-net (OPCN-2) system can be constructed using the Mitsubishi Electric MELSEC iQ-R series.
It allows you to interconnect, control, and monitor programmable controllers, CNC (computer numerical control) devices, and PCs from different manufacturers.
Easy startup: Supports various functions of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation's GX Works3, making it easy to create programs.
Two types of communication functions depending on the application: FL-net (OPCN-2) data communication supports "cyclic transmission" and "message transmission".
Large-scale masterless network: Because there is no master, each node can join and leave freely, and up to 254 devices can be connected.
(*Of the 254 units, 249 can be used for control. The remaining 5 units are allocated to fault diagnosis.)
Network devices
*It is not compatible with FL-net (OPCN-2) Ver. 1 devices, so mixed connection and communication is not possible. If used, it may cause malfunction.
*The maximum segment length of an Ethernet cable is 100m. However, this distance may be shorter depending on the cable usage environment. For details, please contact the cable manufacturer.
*This is the number of connection levels when using a repeater hub. When using a switching hub, check with the manufacturer of the switching hub to see how many levels can be connected.
