PCWI Compact 15kV DC Porosity Detector Pipeline Kit

Simple:

PCWI Tips:
PCWI reccomend that you carefully check your detector prior to each use for any damage / wear and tear then verify it's output with a PCWI DC Crest Meter: DCCREST
Always verify the detector is working on an uncoated section or the earthing connection point
If possible test on a known or introduced pinhole/flaw in the coating to ensure the sensitivity is correctly set
Use a DFT gauge to check the dry film thickness and set the detector volgate according to your test standard.

Earthing:
This porosity detectory must be earthed to both the item under test and to ground
Incorrect or incomplete earthing may lead to damage to the device
Where the item to be tested is not earthed to ground, a ground spike must be attached
7m and 10m earth leads are available off the shelf along with clamps and clips. PCWI can make earth leads up to 50m. Please contact us about your specific requirements
Trailing earth leads are avaialiable in 10m, 15m and 28m lengths
