Description
The Mitech MHBRVU-187.5 II advanced optical hardness tester operates on the mechanical principle of a diamond or spherical cemented carbide indenter pressing into the sample surface to produce indentation. It enables the measurement of Brinell, Rockwell, and Vickers hardness for different materials by measuring the depth or diameter of the indentation.
With its novel appearance and full range of features, this tester allows direct reading of Rockwell hardness values via the optical projection screen, while Vickers and Brinell hardness values require reference to a table.
