Description
D-ring extenders connect to the D-ring on the back of a safety harness to make it easier for people with limited range of motion in their shoulders to reach the connection point on the back of the harness. The extenders decrease the amount of time it takes for workers to attach shock-absorbing lanyards and self-retracting lifelines to the back D-ring of their safety harness. The extra length of the D-ring extender must be accounted for when calculating fall distance for the worker's fall arrest system.
