3M Electrical Insulating Sealers 1601-C (clear) and 1602-R (red) are electrical grade, fast drying sealers and insulators. They come in a pressurized can and help to protect surfaces from weather, moisture, corrosion, oil, alkalis and acids.
For an insulating and covering paint, use Scotch 1601 Sealer Black.
This sealer is based on alkyd resin and 'hardens' into a flexible and resistant film, with excellent adhesion to most common surfaces such as metal, glass, plastic, wood, etc.
Scotch 1601 is resistant to UV, acids, oil and alkalis. It's moisture and weatherproof in addition to having high dielectric strength.
