On reaching the pre-set torque value, these tools “break” at a pivot point, indicating to the user that the set torque has been reached reducing the possibility of over torque.
Cam control of the mechanism gives a controlled break which will not throw the operator off balance. Robust construction gives accurate results, to ±4%, even in arduous working conditions.
Graduated dual scale (N.m and Lb.f) at the handle end of the tool, which is screwed in and out by means of a spanner until the desired torque setting is level with the end of the body tube.
