*The accuracy column indicates the recommended accuracy of taps that are compatible with Class 2 female threads. The tolerance above the effective diameter is the same as the RH accuracy, but the tolerance is 18 μm.
*Tap accuracy does not guarantee female thread accuracy.
*A guide section of about 1P is left to improve ease of insertion into the pilot hole.
*The pilot hole diameter differs between grooveless taps and cutting taps.
*When machining stainless steel, please use a water-insoluble cutting oil or a water-soluble cutting oil with good lubricity.
